What if you don’t need more effort… you just need a different angle?

In today’s episode, we’re talking about perspective—and how one small shift in the way you see your situation can change everything about how you respond, what you believe is possible, and who you become next.

I’m sharing a real moment from my week that turned into a full-blown life lesson:

I was working on a 1,000-piece puzzle (with no voice 😅), feeling irrationally frustrated… and then I had one thought:

“Turn the puzzle around.”

Same pieces. Same puzzle.

But suddenly… everything fit.

And that’s exactly how identity shifts work.

Because in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), we don’t experience “reality” as it is—

we experience it through our filters: our beliefs, our past, and our identity.

So if you keep trying to solve your life from the same old identity…

you’ll keep getting the same old results.

This episode will help you spot where your current perspective is keeping you stuck—and how to shift it in a grounded, practical way.

In this episode, we talk about:

Why your brain doesn’t see reality… it filters it

How identity shapes what you notice, ignore, and believe is possible

The real reason change feels hard (even when you want it)

Why your brain will always look for proof of who you think you are

How a small perspective shift creates big momentum fast

The difference between “trying to change” and actually becoming someone new

🧠 The Practice: “Flip the Puzzle Identity Shift”

This is a simple 5–10 minute exercise you can do today that can seriously change the trajectory of your life.

Part 1: Identify Your Current Identity

Ask yourself:

Who am I being right now?

What do I believe I represent?

What am I known for?

How do I typically handle stress, growth, relationships, or responsibility?

(No judgment. No shame. Just honesty.)

Part 2: Design Your Inspired Identity

Flip the page and write:

Who am I inspired to become?

Not goals—IDENTITY.

What kind of person do you want to be?

What traits do you admire in others?

What version of you feels powerful, calm, grounded, consistent, free?

Part 3: Anchor it into Reality

Write this question down:

What would prove to me that this identity is real?

Pick 5 actions that show you’re living as the new version of you.

Then write:

When I slip, I will…

(because sustainable identity isn’t built through perfection—it’s built through recovery)

Part 4: Commit to it

Write:

This is who I am now.

And then decide what daily action proves it.

Because identity work becomes real when it leaves your journal and enters your life.

💬 Your Challenge This Week

Ask yourself:

Where in your life do you need to “turn the puzzle around”?

Same life. Same pieces.

New perspective.

And watch what suddenly starts to fit.
