Welcome to Own Your Shift with Kim
If you’re here, something in you is already paying attention.
Maybe you’re noticing patterns you didn’t consciously choose.
Maybe your body reacts faster than your mind can explain.
Maybe you’ve done a lot of “work” on yourself and still feel like something isn’t clicking.
This podcast and this space exists for that moment.
Own Your Shift isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about understanding how you learned to be the way you are—and what happens when you stop assuming those patterns are permanent.
A lot of what we experience doesn’t start with us. It’s inherited. Learned. Conditioned. Wired into the nervous system long before we had language for it. And while awareness matters, awareness alone doesn’t always create change.
Here, we talk about what happens after awareness.
We explore:
How stress patterns get passed down through families
Why your body reacts even when your mind “knows better”
The intersection of neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and energy
How real change happens in real time—not by reliving the past, but by creating from the present
This isn’t a podcast about talking in circles or endlessly unpacking stories.
It’s about ownership. Embodiment. And learning how to live differently once you see what’s actually been running the show.
You don’t need to agree with everything shared here, or do anything perfectly, and you definitely don't need to rush.
Take what resonates. Let the rest go.
If you’re new, starting with Episode 1 will help ground you in the framework behind this work. From there, let your curiosity lead.
I’m really glad you’re here.
